BEACHES.... When are you coming?

Do you think you have seen it all? It's time to see other destinations and explore more.

Stop vacationing and start traveling, it's the best way to learn about other cultures... Try it all, that's living life to the fullest...

These are the beaches of Santa Marta. When are you coming?

BLOG APP PROJECT!

A friend told me a few months ago that I should blog about my trips and some adventures I like to take throughout my photography, less words and more art, more still images, more real!

I have come across with many many blogs and to be honest, they are way too long to read and the media is quick and short. We now cut words to write even faster so I think blogging should go towards that as well. Write and show interesting facts, issues and the most important thing when happening!

Right now, Im blogging all this from
my iPhone and from the comfort of my couch and from now on I will blog from it whenever I have idea, on the bus, a waiting area, airport, anywhere... Why not blogging live? That could be interesting! Take some photos and give an opinion or talk about something happening... Fast blogging! People will interact faster and will get the info right when it's happening.

My next blog will be about my latest trip... I will do it all from my iPhone i hope this works!

Until then!

OttawaFashionWeek GotSquared

Very recently, Ottawa ranked number 8th on the list of the worst dressed cities in the world... This is not far from being true, but it is not a 100% true because whoever judges went to down town at lunch time in sunny summer day!...

Here are some photos of the fashion event of the year in the city... some beautiful people and great designers. This shows you that the Nation's Capital is moving towards being a fashion forward city!

These are some of my favorites moments from last weekend... Moments taken from front row, second row, third row or wherever I was or from wherever I was not kicked out (Don't ask why)

This is OFW through the lens of YouGotSquared...high contrast... high energy... high colour... this is YouGotSquared!

I hope you enjoy these still images as much as I do.

Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit GotSquared!

Two weeks ago I woke up uninspired, I didn't have many ideas running through my head and I was actually thinking of putting my camera down to re-think what I really wanted.

In my head, I had always the though, -I need inspiration, I need to see something that will set up my mind differently, and I am not talking about drugs, I haven't done it and I don't think I will ever do it, then I called up my good friend Pino and said, hey, lets go to Montreal to see Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit at the Montreal museum of fine Arts he said Yes! Great...
So.... Let's get inspired! let's see some art!

This was an amazing experience and for sure inspired me a lot.
JPG is all about details and precision... it's about different.. elegance.. drama... it's like go big or go home!

This exhibit inspires anyone... every second I spent there was amazing... it was like my brain started to think again and re focus and seeing what I want to be... and I don't mean a designer, I would never achieve something like that, but through the lens, I can imagine and make something happen!

This man's work is amazing... I could go again!

The exhibition — which the couturier considers to be a creation in its own right rather than a retrospective – features approximately 140 ensembles, mainly from the designer's couture collections, but also from his prêt-à-porter line, along with their accessories. Created between the early 1970s and 2010, these pieces have, for the most part, never before been exhibited.

Here, probably my favorite pieces, from the catwalk

Animal inspired;

Culture inspired

and to me, VERY interesting and unique pieces...

We have to get some inspiration in moments when we need it the most.  I think this has been one of the best exhibits I have seen. Loved it, I would see it many times and find more interesting every time!

I wish I could post more photos of this exhibit.  If you have the chance to go, just go! it is amazing.
